The future of Bitcoin and the mining industry seems brighter than ever, according to HC Wainwright, following the most anticipated gathering in Bitcoin's 15-year history, held in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Bitcoin 2024 event saw over 20,000 attendees, including two presidential candidates, former US President and Republican candidate Donald J. Trump, and several members of the US Senate, including Cynthia Lummis, and industry leaders such as Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy.
H.C. Winright wrote: "It has been refreshing for the entire Bitcoin community to hear the overwhelming support shown by many American politicians for both Bitcoin and the mining industry".
Donald Trump's speech at the conference, the first presidential candidate's speech at a Bitcoin event, included several prominent remarks. He likened the state of the base currency to the steel industry 100 years ago and outlined a plan to make the United States the "crypto capital of the world" and the "great power of Bitcoin in the world".
