GUSD Now Supports Minting with USD1, Offering 3.8% APR

Gate GUSD now supports minting with USD1. You can mint GUSD at a 1:1 ratio using USDT, USDC, or USD1 and enjoy 3.8% APR simply by holding GUSD. In addition, when you use GUSD to participate in investment products such as Launchpool and Pre-IPOs (excluding Simple Earn and Dual Investment), you can earn both the product returns and GUSD minting rewards simultaneously, enjoying multiple sources of yield.

Product Overview

GUSD is a principal-protected flexible-term investment product with returns generated from Gate's ecosystem revenue, Treasury RWAs, and high-quality yield-bearing assets backed by stablecoins. It can be traded and used as collateral, allowing users to earn annualized yield with daily distributions while providing relatively stable returns.

• Minting Method: Mint GUSD with USDT, USDC, or USD1 at a 1:1 conversion ratio.
• Yield Distribution: Returns start accruing on the second day after your subscription and will be distributed in GUSD by 12:00 (UTC) on the following day. Returns are calculated based on the eligible GUSD balance in your Spot/Unified Account and Funding Account. You can view the details of your accumulated returns in your Spot/Unified Account.
• Asset Redemption: You can redeem GUSD at any time. Assets will be automatically returned to your Spot or Unified Account as USDT, USDC, or USD1. You can choose fast redemption or standard redemption. Redemption fees are dynamically adjusted based on market conditions (as shown on the redemption page). Fast redemption usually arrives within 5 min after submitting the request, while standard redemption arrives on D+3 after submission.
