Gate Hosts 13th Anniversary Brand and Industry Series in Hong Kong, Strengthening Global Connectivity and Ecosystem Synergy

As Gate marks its 13th anniversary, the platform centered its celebrations in Hong Kong, leveraging iconic city landmarks and industry resources to roll out a series of brand and ecosystem initiatives. Running from April 16 to April 22, the program extended from public-facing showcases to in-depth industry dialogue, offering guests an on-site brand experience while outlining future industry directions through exchange and engagement.

On April 16, Gate officially launched its 13th anniversary series in Hong Kong. As the opening highlight, the platform partnered with Oracle Red Bull Racing in F1 to host a showcase car parade along Victoria Harbour. The display car followed a designated route, drawing widespread attention both online and offline.

The parade concluded at the K11 MUSEA Promenade, where Gate hosted the media day for the "Racing the Future" outdoor cross-industry exhibition. On April 17, hundreds of celebrities, KOLs, and media representatives attended, witnessing the unveiling of Max Verstappen’s giant helmet installation. Multiple VVIP preview sessions were also held, further amplifying attention.

From April 18 to April 24, the exhibition opened to the public, featuring Oracle Red Bull Racing in F1's 2026 car and core equipment, alongside immersive interactive experiences. On opening day alone, attendance exceeded 10,000 visitors, with strong engagement around racing engineering, driver gear, and interactive installations, making it a key cultural and brand activation along Victoria Harbour that week.

On April 20, the anniversary program reached a key milestone with the Blue Carpet Ceremony at K11 MUSEA. Gate Founder and CEO Dr. Han attended and delivered remarks, reflecting on the platform’s development and reaffirming its commitment to user-centric innovation and compliance.

That evening, Gate hosted the "GATE GALA 13" anniversary dinner at the Rosewood Hong Kong, bringing together over 300 institutional representatives, partners, and industry guests from around the world. Dr. Han delivered a keynote titled "How We Grow Together in the Crypto Industry". During the speaker session, Gate CCO Simon Ren, Head of Global Institutional Business at Gate Addis Hu, and Galaxy Digital APAC COO John Cahill were also invited to share insights. The 13th anniversary series coincides with the Hong Kong Web3 Festival. On the main stage of the event, Dr. Han delivered a keynote titled "Move Everything On-Chain", proposing that the future financial system will be defined by whether assets are on-chain, with RWA serving as a key bridge between traditional finance and crypto.

Gate also extended engagement into academic and industry dialogue. At the "Web3 Dialogues @ HKU - Academia x Industry" event held at the University of Hong Kong, Dr. Han shared views on industry competition, highlighting the "Matthew Effect" in crypto, where early advantages are amplified through liquidity, users, and brand.

Institutional engagement was also a key component of the series. On April 22, Gate hosted the "Institutional Circle: AI Reshaping Crypto Liquidity & Market Access" event in Hong Kong, focusing on technological evolution and market structure. The event gathered institutional representatives from across Asia-Pacific to discuss how AI is reshaping crypto liquidity and market access. Gate’s Head of Global Institutional Addis Hu and AWS Senior Regional Business Development Manager Ethan Hui shared insights from different perspectives, covering market structure evolution and the role of infrastructure in supporting market growth.
