Event Details
One-Click GUSD Minting: Start Earning by Holding
During the event, users can mint GUSD daily from 00:00 to 23:59 UTC using USDT or USDC. After minting, the system credits your account with GUSD at a 1:1 ratio.
Earnings begin accruing the day after subscription and are distributed in GUSD by 18:00 UTC on the following day. The system calculates rewards based on eligible GUSD balances across your spot, unified, and funding accounts. You can view your accumulated earnings in your account dashboard.
Multiple Investment Products, Multiple Reward Streams
Beyond the returns from holding GUSD, you can also use GUSD in Launchpool, Launchpad, and other investment products. While invested, you continue to earn GUSD minting rewards and event bonuses, maximizing capital efficiency across different products.
Yield Components and Annualized Calculation
GUSD’s total yield combines a base reference annualized rate and additional event bonuses. The reference annualized yield adjusts based on market conditions and product sustainability, while the event bonus is part of the platform’s reward mechanism. Bonuses are distributed daily in GT tokens to user accounts.

Its returns are primarily sourced from Gate ecosystem revenue, government bond RWAs (real-world assets), and high-quality yield assets backed by stablecoins. The product supports both trading and collateral functions, allowing users to earn daily returns while holding, and aims to provide a stable asset return mechanism.
Structurally, GUSD serves as a yield certificate minted via USDT or USDC, representing a tokenized on-chain asset. It does not confer direct ownership of any real-world asset. Upon redemption, GUSD converts to USDT or USDC at a 1:1 ratio (subject to applicable redemption fees).
Asset Redemption and Withdrawal Methods
GUSD holders can submit redemption requests at any time. The system will automatically convert assets to USDT or USDC and return them to your spot or unified account.
There are two redemption modes:
- Fast Redemption: Typically credited within about 5 minutes after submitting the request
- Standard Redemption: Assets are returned to your account on D+3 days after the request
