According to blockchain security firm Blockaid, TrustedVolumes, a liquidity provider for decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch, suffered an ongoing exploit on Wednesday that drained around $5.87 million. The attack affected TrustedVolumes' resolver contract on Ethereum, with stolen funds including 1,291.16 WETH, 206,282 USDT, 16.939 WBTC, and 1,268,771 USDC.
Later on Thursday, TrustedVolumes confirmed the exploit and updated the loss figure to approximately $6.7 million. Meanwhile, 1inch stated that its systems, infrastructure, and user funds were not affected, noting that TrustedVolumes operates independently as a liquidity provider used by multiple protocols.
