29 Nations Sign Agreement to Establish World AI Cooperation Organization on July 16

According to CCTV, 29 countries from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe signed an agreement on July 16 to establish the World AI Cooperation Organization, becoming founding members. The organization will focus on three areas: strengthening international cooperation in AI capacity building through policy exchanges and technical collaboration; creating practical cooperation outcomes by leveraging supply-demand matching platforms and promoting AI-plus initiatives; and advancing fair global AI governance aligned with UN principles and sustainable development goals.
