Aave Labs Establishes Unified Asset Technical Standards on May 29, High-Risk Assets Face Listing Limits

According to BlockBeats, on May 29, Aave Labs proposed a unified asset technical review framework for Aave V3, V4, and Horizon. The framework sets standardized requirements for new asset listings, scaling of existing assets, and continued operation, including ERC20 compatibility, oracle reliability, bridge security, permission controls, and audit status.

Assets with significant technical defects may face reduced borrowing limits, restricted collateral parameters, delayed launch, or be recommended for protocol rejection. The framework also subjects cross-chain assets, yield-bearing assets, and RWA-dependent assets to enhanced review covering bridge structures, off-chain legal arrangements, and custody mechanisms.
