MoonPay Launches MoonAgents Card, Virtual Mastercard for AI Agents and Users on Friday

According to The Block, MoonPay launched MoonAgents Card, a virtual Mastercard debit card for AI agents and users, on Friday. The card converts stablecoins into fiat at payment point and can be used at any online merchant globally that accepts Mastercard. Issued through Monavate, a regulated payments platform and Mastercard principal member, the card links self-custodial wallets directly to the payment card. Monavate handles onchain funding and authorization in real time; if a transaction is declined, funds return to the user's wallet immediately, and wallet custody is never transferred. The card is currently available through MoonPay CLI in the UK and Latin America, with U.S. and EU availability planned in the coming months.
