Airbus to Inspect 16 A380 Aircraft After Wing Cracks Detected, 5 Planes Checked Immediately

According to Airbus, on June 23, the company announced immediate inspections of 16 A380 aircraft due to cracks detected on critical wing components. Five of these aircraft will begin inspection immediately, with the remaining 11 to follow. The cracks were previously found on A380s operated by different carriers.
