Alleged a16z-Linked Address Purchases 687,000 HYPE in 4 Days, Accumulates $463M Since 2026

According to BlockBeats citing Hyperinsight monitoring, an alleged a16z-linked whale address purchased 687,000 HYPE (worth approximately $48.09 million) over the past four days as of June 4, with 136,000 HYPE (approximately $9.65 million) added today through five addresses using time-weighted average price (TWAP) orders.

Since the start of 2026, the associated addresses have accumulated 6.617 million HYPE (valued at approximately $463 million at current prices). The funds trace back to addresses allegedly connected to HYPE's largest external entity, a16z.
