TSLA-14.60%

According to Alphabet's latest quarterly report filed with the SEC, the company disclosed a $94.1 billion investment in SpaceX as of June 30. Roughly $80 billion of those shares face short-term sales restrictions, while another $14.1 billion cannot be sold until late 2027. The position implies a roughly 6% stake in SpaceX based on the company's market cap.

Alphabet is not alone among Mag-7 companies holding SpaceX equity. Tesla reported a $1 billion mark-to-market gain on its SpaceX holdings during the second quarter. In June 2026, Google and SpaceX also signed a multi-year agreement under which Google will pay SpaceX approximately $920 million monthly for AI computing power through mid-2029.
