Amazon to Invest Over $33 Billion in Southeast Asia Cloud, AI Infrastructure by 2039

According to Amazon, on May 21, the company announced planned investments exceeding US$33 billion in cloud and AI infrastructure across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand by 2039. The company projects the spending could support more than 56,300 full-time equivalent jobs annually and add over US$64 billion to the four markets' combined GDP by 2039.
