AMD Starts Mass Production of Venice EPYC Processors Using TSMC's 2nm Process on May 21

According to Odaily and Jin10, AMD announced on May 21 that its next-generation EPYC processor codenamed "Venice" has begun mass production using TSMC's most advanced 2nm process technology. The chip is the industry's first high-performance computing (HPC) processor to enter mass production using the 2nm node.

AMD also plans to extend the 2nm process to its subsequent data center CPU generation, codenamed "Verano."
