According to Bloomberg, the valuation of OpenAI’s funding round completed in March this year was $852 billion; if Anthropic’s funding in this round is completed at a valuation of more than $900 billion, its valuation would surpass OpenAI, becoming the highest-valued AI startup globally.
According to Bloomberg, Anthropic’s current two major strategic investors have made the following commitments:
Google (Alphabet): committed to invest up to $40 billion in Anthropic (including additional amounts subject to performance conditions), with the initial investment calculated at a $350 billion valuation
Amazon: based on a $350 billion valuation, committed to invest a final $25 billion, with funds to be injected in batches
Together, the two commitments exceed $65 billion. According to Bloomberg, it is currently unclear whether Google and Amazon will participate in this new round of fundraising.
According to Bloomberg, Anthropic reported annualized recurring revenue (ARR) of $30 billion in April 2026, meaning the company’s monthly revenue is about $2.5 billion; Bloomberg also pointed out that OpenAI has publicly accused this figure of being inflated.
