According to Axios on Saturday (June 27), the U.S. government has nearly agreed to lift restrictions on Anthropic's Fable 5 AI model. The Trump administration could remove limitations as soon as next week, with negotiations expected to continue through the weekend, according to sources familiar with the discussions. Anthropic suspended access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after the government issued export controls on June 12.
