Apple Narrows Gap With Nvidia to 3% on Lower Capital Spending

According to Daily Economy, Apple closed trading on July 6 at $312.66, up 1.31%, with a market cap of $4.592 trillion. The gap with market leader Nvidia ($4.732 trillion) narrowed to 3%, as Apple continues its selective AI investment approach. While Alphabet increased capital expenditure by 107% and Microsoft by 85% in the first quarter, Apple reduced its capex by 36%, focusing instead on essential AI infrastructure like custom server chips developed with Broadcom and TSMC.
