According to ChainCatcher, Aptos announced it will become the first Layer 1 blockchain to offer a native encrypted mempool following governance approval. The feature provides complete transaction intent confidentiality without affecting transaction speed, maintaining trust assumptions consistent with the network itself. The protocol-level protection aims to shield users from frontrunning attacks.
