Atlanta Fed Trims Q2 GDP Growth Estimate to 1.5%, Down 0.1% on July 28

According to the Atlanta Federal Reserve's GDP Now model, on July 28 (local time), the bank trimmed its Q2 2026 real GDP growth estimate to 1.5% annualized quarterly rate, down 0.1 percentage point from 1.6% a day earlier. The latest revision reflects newly released economic data, with inventory contribution to growth declining from negative 0.28% to negative 0.45%, corporate investment contribution easing slightly from 1.16% to 1.13%, and net exports contribution improving from negative 1.35% to negative 1.20%.
