According to Axios journalist Barak Ravid on May 8, Axios has not reported that a deal is imminent over the past three weeks. Ravid stated that false claims circulating on social media are part of a propaganda campaign by Iran’s government, state television, and coordinated bot accounts. He urged the public not to be misled or amplify the narrative.
