Beijing Port's Inbound and Outbound Passenger Volume Surpasses 8 Million, Up 12% Year-over-Year

According to Beijing Border Inspection, as of May 12 at 11:30 a.m., Beijing port’s total inbound and outbound passenger volume surpassed 8 million this year, up 12% year-over-year and reaching the 8 million milestone half a month earlier than last year.

As of May 11, foreign nationals entering and exiting through Beijing port exceeded 2.55 million, accounting for 32% of total passenger volume, up 33.6% year-over-year. Among them, 957,000 foreign nationals entered under visa-exemption and temporary entry permit policies, representing 70.8% of all foreign entrants.
