According to Belgium's Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA), on July 1 the regulator flagged 6 unauthorized crypto-asset service providers—Aurum Foundation, Bank Bit, Bithf Pro, Dxago, Global Dynamic Trade, and ZeriaFunding—and added them to its list of fraudulent providers. The warning came as the EU's MiCA transitional regime expired, ending temporary arrangements that allowed existing providers to continue operating without formal authorization.
The FSMA advised consumers to verify any crypto provider against its official register before engaging, and reminded users that crypto assets carry volatility risks and are not covered by compensation schemes. The action marks an early enforcement phase under MiCA's harmonized EU framework, which now requires all crypto-asset service providers to obtain proper licensing to offer custody, trading, exchange, and other regulated services.
