According to Yonhap Infomax, BGF Retail is forecast to post consolidated sales of 2.4172 trillion won and operating profit of 760 billion won in Q2 2026, up 5.55% and 9.57% year-over-year respectively. The growth is driven by strong performance in convenience stores, with same-store sales growth expected at 4.0% in Q2, up from 2.7% in Q1, aided by favorable weather and improved consumer sentiment. However, one-time logistics costs related to a truckers' union strike are expected to partially offset profit gains in the quarter.
