Conference ticket prices range from $699 for standard tickets to $12,999 for a premium whale pass. This year’s official theme is “All In on the Future of Money.”
According to a public statement by early Bitcoin investor and keynote speaker Simon Dixon on the eve of the conference, Dixon declined to take the stage and quoted in a public post: “To be honest, this Bitcoin conference has already been brainwashed. Bitcoin is open-source code… Failing to understand the differences is a big mistake.”
According to published reports, BTC Inc. had not yet responded publicly to the above criticisms as of the time the report was issued.
