Bitcoin Falls Below $63K on Tuesday, Wiping Out $134M in Longs

According to Bitcoin.com News, bitcoin tumbled 2% on Tuesday, plunging to an intraday low of $62,684 before recovering to trade near $63,660 by 2:37 p.m. EST. The sharp decline wiped out $134 million in leveraged long positions, with an additional $22 million in short liquidations bringing total bitcoin-related liquidations to $156 million. Across the broader crypto market, long liquidations totalled $515 million. Bitcoin's monthly losses now stand at 4%, with its market capitalization down to $1.277 trillion.
