Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Accumulate 371,000 BTC in 30 Days, Holdings Hit Record High

BTC-1.57%
According to CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr., Bitcoin long-term holders accumulated an additional 371,000 BTC over the past 30 days on July 17, bringing total holdings to a record 16.34 million BTC. The accumulation streak has remained positive for 186 consecutive days. The CDD (Cumulative Delta Days) indicator, which tracks dormant coins by multiplying dormancy duration by transfer amount, currently stands at 313 million, significantly lower than 899 million one year ago, indicating long-term holders continue to hold rather than sell. However, Bitcoin price has declined from $118,600 to $63,800 over the same period, suggesting that reduced supply alone has not driven price appreciation without sufficient buying demand.
