Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Hit Record 16.3M BTC, But Unrealized Gains Only 30%

According to CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost, Bitcoin long-term holders (LTH, those holding for over six months) reached a record high of 16.3 million BTC on July 26, with an average cost basis around $49,400. At current prices, their unrealized gains stand at approximately 30%, which is relatively low compared to January 2025 when LTH unrealized gains peaked at about 340%.
