Bitget Intercepted Over 150 Million Malicious Requests in 12-Month Period, Recovered $32.3M

According to Bitget's June 29 report developed with blockchain security firm SlowMist, the Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange intercepted more than 150 million malicious requests from July 2025 to June 2026. Bitget handled 18,135 user protection cases and supported the recovery of US$32.3 million linked to security incidents and fraud. The companies identified scams using deepfakes, voice cloning, phishing, malicious smart contracts, and wallet-draining operations across crypto, tokenized assets, stocks, and AI-powered investment tools.
