Blackstone-Anthropic Venture Acquires Fractional AI to Launch Enterprise AI Services

According to Bloomberg, a venture backed by Blackstone, Anthropic, and Hellman & Friedman has acquired San Francisco-based Fractional AI as its operating core. The deal marks the venture's first acquisition and ends Fractional AI's 11-month partnership with OpenAI. Other investors in the venture include Apollo Global Management, General Atlantic, Leonard Green, GIC, and Sequoia Capital. The venture plans to help midsize companies adopt generative AI tools, including Anthropic's Claude. Deal terms were not disclosed.
