Boeing Studies Production Increase for 737 MAX to 52 Aircraft Per Month After May Approval

According to Boeing's commercial aircraft CEO Stephanie Pope on Sunday, the manufacturer is studying further production increases for its 737 MAX after gaining regulatory approval to boost output to 47 aircraft per month in May. Pope told reporters at a Farnborough Airshow roundtable that the team's current focus is stabilizing production at 47 per month before advancing to 52 per month, with plans to assess subsequent targets afterward.
