Gate News message, April 22 — Capital Group, one of the world’s largest asset managers with $3 trillion in assets under management, disclosed that its American Funds EUPAC Fund has increased its stake in Metaplanet (3350.T), a bitcoin reserve company. The fund added 2.79 million shares, bringing its total holdings to 3.85 million shares, valued at approximately $8.8 million based on disclosed data.

The acquisition was monitored by BitcoinTreasuries.NET, which tracks institutional bitcoin holdings and reserves.
