According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ended July 21, net short positions across major currency futures were as follows: Japanese yen 152,125 contracts, British pound 55,561 contracts, euro 41,338 contracts, and Swiss franc 34,242 contracts.
