Gate News message, April 29 — Chiliz, a sports blockchain platform, is expanding over 70 fan tokens to Solana and Base networks using a unified supply standard that ensures consistent token supply across all supported chains and eliminates wrapped token fragmentation and liquidity fragmentation issues.

Chiliz launched its own Layer 1 network for token trading in 2023 and is now transitioning to a full-chain distribution model. The expansion aims to significantly boost fan token trading volume ahead of the summer World Cup. The platform has already launched fan tokens for Argentina and Portugal national teams, with additional tokens expected to be announced in June.
