China Completes 5.15 Trillion Yuan in Water Infrastructure Investment Across 33,000 Projects in H1 2026

According to China's Ministry of Water Resources, in the first half of 2026 (January to June), the country completed 5,151 billion yuan in water conservancy construction investment across 33,000 projects as part of its modern water network modernization initiative. Major projects including the environmental water resource allocation project around the Beibu Gulf and the Yellow River Gugan Water Conservancy Hub advanced significantly during the period.
