China Delivers First Qilin-Class Submarine to Pakistan on May 9

According to China’s Ministry of National Defense spokesman Jiang Bin, the first Qilin-class conventional submarine built by China was handed over to Pakistan in Sanya on May 9 afternoon. Pakistan’s president and navy chief of staff attended the delivery ceremony. Jiang stated the transfer represents normal equipment cooperation between the two nations and embodies their all-weather strategic partnership.
