China Dispatches 3 Beijing Experts, 17 Provincial Specialists to Shanxi Coal Mine Explosion Site on May 23

According to Xinhua News Agency, China's National Health Commission organized emergency response efforts on May 23 following a gas explosion at Liushenyu coal mine operated by Shanxi Tongzhou Group. Senior officials and multiple departments were dispatched to guide emergency medical treatment. Three critical care and respiratory specialists from Beijing's Peking Union Medical College Hospital and Beijing Jishuitan Hospital were sent to support on-site rescue operations. Shanxi Province's Health Commission mobilized 17 experts from Shanxi Medical University First Hospital and Shanxi Second People's Hospital, while Changzhi city deployed 86 ambulances to conduct comprehensive medical treatment efforts.
