China, EU Hold 8th Alcoholic Beverages Working Group Meeting in Yinchuan, May 20-21

China's General Administration of Customs and the European Commission's Agriculture Directorate jointly hosted the 8th China-EU Working Group on Alcoholic Beverages in Yinchuan, Ningxia, on May 20-21. Nearly 100 representatives from food safety authorities, the EU delegation to China, local governments, and industry associations attended.

Discussions covered label management, enterprise registration, standards, and counterfeit suppression. Participants conducted site inspections of wine export enterprises in the Helan Mountain East wine region and visited China's national grape and wine testing laboratory in Yinchuan to exchange expertise on winemaking techniques and quality standards.
