China Reaffirms Visa-Free Arrangement with Russia Beneficial, Open to Further Talks on July 29

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, on July 29, spokesperson Mao Ning reiterated at a regular press conference that the mutual visa-free arrangement between China and Russia has played a positive role in facilitating people-to-people exchanges. This came in response to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko's earlier statement about discussions on establishing a permanent visa-free regime. China expressed willingness to maintain communication with Russia on the matter.
