China, Russia Complete Joint Naval Exercises Near Qingdao on July 17

According to Defense Ministry spokesman Jian Bin, China and Russia successfully completed the 'Maritime Joint-2026' joint naval exercises in waters near Qingdao on July 17. The exercises covered joint reconnaissance, air defense, and anti-missile operations. Both navies have now transitioned into the maritime joint patrol phase. The activities are part of the two nations' annual military cooperation plan and aim to enhance joint operational capabilities and address maritime security threats.
