According to Jin10, China’s equipment manufacturing sector saw value-added output grow 8.7% year-over-year in the first four months of 2026, contributing over 70% to the overall industrial growth, according to Fu Linghuai, spokesperson and chief economist of the National Bureau of Statistics, at a press briefing on May 18.
