Gate News message, April 21 — At China's Foreign Ministry press conference on April 21, spokesperson Guo Jiakun responded to claims by former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley that a vessel seized by the U.S. in the Strait of Hormuz was carrying chemicals from China to Iran related to missile production.

Guo Jiakun clarified that the seized vessel is a foreign-flagged container ship and stated that China opposes any malicious association and hype regarding the matter.
