China's Foreign Ministry Responds to US Semiconductor Export Controls on May 15

According to Beijing Daily, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun responded on May 15 to a question from The New York Times about whether China and the U.S. had discussed American semiconductor export restrictions. Guo stated that China has repeatedly expressed its principled position on the issue of U.S. chip exports to China.
