China's Foreign Ministry Urges Countries Not to Become Accomplices to U.S. Disinformation on July 14

According to China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian on July 14, China opposes cyberattacks and the spread of false information about cybersecurity for political purposes. The spokesperson stated that the U.S. has long conducted systematic cyberattacks globally and repeatedly enlisted regional countries to spread false allegations against China under the guise of cybersecurity concerns. Lin urged relevant countries not to serve as geopolitical tools or become accomplices in spreading disinformation about Chinese "cyberattacks."
