According to Xinhua News Agency, China’s Vice President Han Zheng held talks with Brunei Crown Prince Billah in Beijing on May 12. Han emphasized mutual support on core interests and proposed deepening cooperation through the China-Brunei government-to-government coordination mechanism, advancing flagship Belt and Road Initiative projects, and expanding collaboration in artificial intelligence, digital economy, green economy, energy, and agriculture.
Both sides pledged to strengthen multilateral cooperation, jointly address global and regional challenges, and accelerate building a closer China-ASEAN community of shared destiny to promote regional stability and prosperity.
