China's Yuan Weakens to 6.7928 Against Dollar on July 28, Up 17 Basis Points

On July 28, China's central parity rate for the yuan against the dollar weakened to 6.7928, up 17 basis points, according to the interbank foreign exchange market. Other major currencies also adjusted: the euro fell to 7.7119 (down 148 points), sterling dropped to 9.0141 (down 353 points), and the Australian dollar declined to 4.7380 (down 20 points). The yuan strengthened against the Russian ruble, trading at 11.5215 (up 389 points).
