CHR Drops 23.96% in 4 Hours After Long-Term Holder's Wallet Compromised; Chromia Denies Security Breach

CHR-10.26%
According to Foresight News, Chromia's CHR token fell 23.96% in 4 hours on July 23, now trading at 0.013 USDT. Chromia clarified that the price decline stemmed from a single long-term holder's wallet being compromised and assets transferred and liquidated within approximately 2.5 hours, totaling about $2.26 million including 28.7 million CHR tokens. The platform confirmed it has not been hacked; the CHR contract, cross-chain bridge, and protocol infrastructure remain unaffected. Chromia emphasized the price movement reflects selling pressure only, not any protocol vulnerability.
