Chris Fall Resigns as Head of Trump's AI Safety Agency After 3 Months, CNBC Confirms

According to CNBC confirmed Monday, Chris Fall resigned from his role as director of the Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) just three months after being appointed by the Trump administration in April. Arvind Raman, director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, will serve as acting director of CAISI, according to Commerce Department spokesperson Kristen Eichamer. The reason for Fall's departure was not disclosed.
