CMCSA Stock Gains 3% as NBCUniversal Brings Peacock to YouTube Premium Starting 2027

According to Reuters, NBCUniversal and Alphabet's YouTube reached a deal on Monday to bring the Peacock streaming service to YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S. beginning in early 2027. Peacock's content library, including original shows and live sports such as NFL and NBA games, will be available to over 125 million YouTube Premium subscribers globally, marking Peacock's largest wholesale distribution deal. The agreement also extends NBC's television networks on YouTube TV. Comcast (CMCSA) shares gained over 3% during Monday afternoon trading, while Alphabet (GOOGL) stock rose 2.5%.
