According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), COMEX gold speculators increased net long positions by 4,294 contracts to 119,147 in the week ended July 14. COMEX silver speculators decreased net long positions by 1,755 contracts to 10,377. COMEX copper speculators increased net long positions by 1,536 contracts to 61,932.
