Commonwealth Bank of Australia Reports Q3 Cash Profit of A$2.7B, Up 4% Year-over-Year

According to Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), the country’s largest lender reported after-tax cash net profit of A$2.7 billion (approximately US$1.95 billion) for the third quarter ended March 31, up 4% compared to A$2.6 billion in the same period last year. However, the result was 1% lower than the average quarterly performance in the first half of the fiscal year.
