According to BlockBeats, Creek Finance launched its core protocol on Sui mainnet on May 12, integrating Matrixdock’s XAUm gold token. The protocol enables users to fractionalize, collateralize, trade, and generate yield on tokenized physical gold, with XAUm backed 1:1 by physical gold and verified through third-party audits and on-chain reserve proofs.
Users can now conduct leveraged and yield-generating strategies on gold assets in a permissionless environment, expanding RWA use cases within DeFi on Sui.
